Wellora provides an online platform that connects users with licensed healthcare professionals for virtual consultations via audio and video calls. By registering for an account and using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

 

 2. Account Registration

To use Wellora’s services, both users and doctors must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and update your account details as necessary.

 

– **Users (Patients):** You must provide accurate health information to ensure doctors can provide appropriate medical advice.

– **Doctors:** You must provide proof of licensure and other required qualifications, which Wellora will verify before allowing you to provide services on the platform.

 

 3. User and Doctor Responsibilities

**3.1 For Users:**

– You are responsible for providing truthful and accurate information during consultations.

– You agree to use Wellora for personal health consultations only and not for commercial purposes.

– You understand that Wellora is not for emergency situations. If you have an emergency, you must seek immediate medical attention from a physical healthcare facility.

– You agree not to engage in abusive or inappropriate behavior toward doctors.

 

**3.2 For Doctors:**

– You agree to provide professional, ethical, and accurate medical advice in accordance with your professional obligations.

– You must ensure that all information shared with users is clear, accurate, and lawful.

– You agree to maintain user confidentiality and comply with data privacy laws (GDPR etc.).

– You must not solicit users for services outside of Wellora without prior authorization.

 

4. Fees and Payments

– **Users (Patients):** Consultations are paid on a per-session basis. Payments are made through our secure platform using Stripe. All fees are non-refundable, except in cases of service disruption as outlined below.

– **Doctors:** You agree to receive payment for consultations through Wellora’s platform. Wellora charges a service fee for facilitating consultations, which will be deducted before payouts to doctors.

 

 5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

– **Users (Patients):** You may cancel a consultation before the appointment begins, but once the consultation has started, no refunds will be issued. Refunds will be considered in cases of app downtime or significant technical issues that prevent the consultation from taking place. – **Doctors:** If you are unable to attend a scheduled consultation, you must notify the user as soon as possible. Failure to meet your obligations may result in suspension from the platform.

 

6. Use of the Platform

– **For Users and Doctors:** You agree not to use the platform to:

  – Upload or share inappropriate content, including but not limited to harassment, abusive language, or defamatory comments.

  – Spread malware, viruses, or any malicious software.

  – Use the app for unauthorized commercial purposes.

 

– Wellora reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts for violations of these Terms, including engaging in any behavior that harms other users or the platform.

 

7. Medical Disclaimer

– **For Users (Patients):** Wellora facilitates access to qualified healthcare professionals, but it does not provide medical advice itself. The consultation you receive is based on the information you provide. Always follow up with a healthcare professional in person if your condition persists or worsens.

– **For Doctors:** You are responsible for providing medically accurate advice. Wellora is not liable for any incorrect diagnoses or treatments you provide through the platform.

 

8. Content Ownership and Rights

– **Users (Patients):** You retain ownership of any content (e.g., health information) you share with doctors, but you grant Wellora a permission to store and use the content as necessary to operate the platform.

– **Doctors:** You retain ownership of any content (e.g., consultation notes, recommendations) shared with users but agree to allow Wellora to use it as needed to ensure the platform functions effectively.

 

9. Privacy and Data Protection

10. Limitation of Liability

– **For Users (Patients):** Wellora is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform, including delays in accessing doctors or technical issues affecting consultations.

– **For Doctors:** Wellora is not responsible for any loss of income due to technical issues or user cancellations. Any legal liability arising from the consultation rests with the healthcare professional.

 

11. Modifications to Terms

Wellora reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users and doctors of any changes by updating the date at the top of the Terms of Use page. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

 

 12. Termination

Wellora may terminate or suspend access to the platform for any user or doctor who violates these Terms or engages in harmful behavior. Both users and doctors can deactivate their accounts at any time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in United Kingdom.
