Welcome to Wellora! By using the Wellora platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline your rights and responsibilities whether you are a healthcare professional (Doctor) or a user seeking consultations (Patient).
1. Introduction
Wellora is an online platform that connects users (Patients) with licensed healthcare professionals (Doctors) for virtual consultations via audio and video calls. By registering for an account and using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Account Registration
– Doctors: To provide services on Wellora, you must register for an account and provide accurate and complete information, including proof of licensure, qualifications, and professional indemnity insurance. You must keep your account details current and secure your login credentials. Wellora is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from failure to secure credentials.
– Patients: To access Wellora’s services, you must register for an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
3. Responsibilities
– Doctors: You agree to provide professional, ethical, and accurate medical advice in accordance with your licensure and professional obligations, comply with all applicable laws, maintain user confidentiality, and have valid professional indemnity insurance. You must not solicit users for services outside of Wellora without prior written authorization.
– Patients: You agree to provide truthful and accurate health information during consultations, acknowledge that Wellora is not suitable for emergency situations, and use Wellora for personal health consultations only. You must behave respectfully towards healthcare professionals.
4. Fees and Payments
– Doctors: Payments for consultations are processed through Wellora’s platform, with a 30% service fee deducted. Payouts are made on a regular basis. Wellora is not responsible for income loss due to technical issues or user cancellations.
– Patients: Consultations are charged on a per-session basis, with payments processed securely through our platform. All fees are non-refundable unless significant technical issues occur.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
– Doctors: You must notify users as soon as possible if unable to attend a scheduled consultation. Repeated cancellations may result in suspension or termination of your account.
– Patients: No refunds are offered for booked appointments. Refunds for app downtime or technical issues are considered on a case-by-case basis.
6. Use of the Platform
– All users must not engage in illegal activities, upload unlawful content, or solicit users for external commercial purposes. Wellora reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Wellora is committed to protecting user privacy. Personal information is managed in compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.
8. Medical Disclaimer
Wellora facilitates access to qualified healthcare professionals but does not provide medical advice itself. The advice received is based on the information provided by the user. Users should follow up with in-person healthcare professionals for ongoing or worsening conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
Wellora is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, including delays, technical issues, or errors in advice provided by healthcare professionals.
10. Taxes
– Doctors: Managing and paying taxes on income earned through Wellora is your sole responsibility. Wellora does not withhold or remit taxes on your behalf.
11. Modifications to Terms
Wellora reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated by updating the Terms on the platform. Continued use of Wellora constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
